About the Blog
Disclaimer: This blog contains my experiences with foundry work. All foundry work and working with objects and molten metal at high temperatures is highly dangerous. I am not a proffesional and am not responsible for your safety. Use any of this blogs content at your own risk.
The purpose of this blog is mainly a place for me to write down ideas and experiences for my own use. I find that often I forget useful things that I have learned unless I write them down and so this is where I am going to do just that. If anyone else is interested in my progress and work then they are welcome to look at it too.
Concerning the name: The name Front Yard Metal Casting was based on a variation of the famous home foundry site Backyardmetalcasting.com. I mean no disrespect to Lionel who has helped me a lot with his information on casting, and I hope that he takes the name as a sign of my respect for him.
